Our Story

Hi, I'm Mikaela — the founder of Project Pan Journey.

I love products, formulas, and the creativity that comes with beauty — but I also know how easy it is to end up with more than you can realistically use. After nearly two decades working in the beauty industry I'd accumulated more products than I could probably finish in a lifetime. Half-finished favorites, backups I forgot I had, and products that get pushed to the back of a drawer while something new takes the spotlight.

After a few years of project pan, my collection has become much smaller and more intentional. Getting into project pan really changed my perspective. It taught me how long it actually takes to finish a product and made me so much more mindful about what I brought into my collection.

I started Project Pan Journey because I wanted a simple way to track what I already owned and actually enjoy using it. The project pan community inspired me, but I couldn't find an app that felt modern, motivating, and easy to keep up with day-to-day. So I built one.
